I am currently working toward qualifying for my Utah Real Estate Broker License, which requires accumulating Experience Points from closed transactions.
To accomplish this, I am inviting SigONE agents who are already closing deals to allow me to be listed as a co-agent on certain transactions.
This arrangement is designed to be simple, helpful, and completely non disruptive to your business.
What This Means for You
Nothing about your transaction changes.
You remain the Primary Agent, maintain full control of the client relationship, and continue running your transaction exactly the way you normally would.
Most importantly:
- You keep 100 percent of your commission
- You keep 100 percent of your production and volume
- Your closings still count fully toward your Realtor 500 goals
Your clients remain your clients. Your business stays your business.
I am simply listed as a co-agent on the paperwork so the transaction counts toward my experience requirement.
How the Process Works
There are two easy ways this can be done.
New Client Relationships
When opening a new Buyer or Listing Agency Agreement, I can draft the agreement so that both agents are listed from the beginning.
Existing Agreements or Active Transactions
For transactions that are already underway, we can simply add a short clause through an addendum.
The clause reads:
“Tristan Bills (UT Lic. #8433809-SA00) shall be added as a co-agent for the [Buyer or Seller].”
Once the addendum is signed, I can be listed as a co-agent on the file so the transaction counts toward my broker experience requirement.
